We’re looking for graduates with a strong academic record to be trained as Conference Producers. This job will sharpen your research skills, greatly extend your business knowledge, make you a more effective negotiator and give you high-level business contacts all over the world. That’s why many in consultancy begin their careers in conference production.
Fundamentally the job of conference production involves researching and identifying topics that business people will want to hear discussed by thought leaders – movers and shakers in that field. You’d then write the conference agenda and invite the thought leaders you’ve identified to speak at the event. The aim is to uncover a subject and produce a line-up of speakers that executives will want to hear; ones that can provide insight into upcoming business innovation.
This company’s events are some of the best in the field and run in Asia and Europe as well as the UK so the role could take you to many countries.
You’ll be dealing with some very sharp people so we’re looking for real academic achievement (AAB or better at 'A' level plus at least a 2:1 degree from a Russell Group or top 30 university), confidence and an interest in business. Graduates like this role because it's creative, intellectually stimulating and gives you the responsibility to take projects from start to finish rather than just focus on one part of a process.
If you’ve got the right stuff the company will provide the training and support to give your career a great start. If this sounds like you, please send a WORD CV now and tell us when you would you be available to speak on the phone.
