Marketing Executive
£26,000 PA

The purpose of this role is to support the staff (particularly, but not exclusively, in Marketing, Business Development, Finance and Event & Conference organisation) in achieving its activities and targets. The role encompasses some administrative and clerical duties to increase the overall productivity and efficiency of the organization.

Key responsibilities

·To assist the Head of Business Development, COO and ED with any marketing campaigns as required

·Supervise weekly email marketing campaigns, email COO and Executive Director in advance and ask for their proposed alerts and suggestions for content. Ensure campaign spreadsheet and Dot Mailer campaign is complete and send to all participants. Monitor alert analytics and take appropriate action when click to open rates drop off.

·Investigate web contact us firms ensuring that the data is then passed to the ED, COO and ED’s PA for processing.

·Responsibility for the communications and marketing of all conferences and events, under the direction of the Conference Co-ordinators and the Head of BD. To help increase attendance by finding new ways to promote the conferences

·Develop the design of conference communications with assistance from the Visual Designer when necessary

·Searching and ordering branded items and promotional gifts when requested. Seek several quotes for all items to be ordered and assess the best value for money

·Assisting the Webmaster in maintaining our social media presence and ED blog. Updating posts and sites within the Website under the direction of the Webmaster and overall direction of The Head of Business Development, COO and ED.

·Producing evaluation forms and analysing the content post events.

·Assisting the Webmaster and conference team in creating a conference website for each conference including information on the hotel, programmes, speakers, delegate lists, presentations and videos.

·Work with and support the Visual Designer with production of conference materials, collateral and magazines.

·Manage the image library

·Asist with Webmaster duties during absence.

·Be proactive in sourcing material/images/content for social media and website when necessary.

·Assist the Webmaster in populating the companies inhouse App for conferences

·Assist the Webmaster with updating the company website news section, ensuring the home page panels and feature panels are updated in accordance to the content plan

·Provide information to callers, greeting persons entering the Office in the absence of the PA

·Providing general admin support where necessary including scanning, copying, collating, proof reading and shredding

·Maintaining and updating Participants details on the website under the guidance of the webmaster in conjunction with the annual World Survey

·Assisting with the sourcing, preparation and packing of all conference material as requested

·Cooperating with office staff to maintain proper integration and a friendly environment within the office, must be a team player

·In circumstances of illness or holidays, acting as temporary back up for both Head of Business Development and Webmaster

·To provide training and support to new members of the team as and when necessary and/or anyone needing guidance or help on systems used by the company. Assisting the Webmaster in maintaining website and social media platforms including Huddle where necessary

·Any ad hoc projects as requested by the Head of Business Development, COO or the Executive Director

·Design and manage using tools such as DotMailer the Alerts and marketing campaign process under the guidance of the webmaster, Head of BD, COO and ED

Person specification

·Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills and professional personal presentation

·IT literate and qualified, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. SharePoint 2013/16 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013/16, In Design or equivalent

·Experience using online content marketing applications such as Survey Monkey, DotMailer or similar

·Have a flexible and hands on attitude to make things happen while ensuring consistent high-quality information

·Good attention to detail, highly organized with ability to multi task

·Should be honest, respectful and trustworthy

·A clear ability to work under pressure and independently as necessary, with tight deadlines

·Other languages are an advantage but not essential

·A warm and engaging personality, experience of interacting with senior professionals would be an advantage

·Qualification in marketing or similar plus successful completion of tertiary education would be desirable, however, demonstrable experience and ability would be accepted
