Our client, a highly successful and reputable boutique Law firm, seeks an experienced Commercial Conveyancing Secretary to support the Partner and x2 Associates.

To be based from their City office in an open plan, fast-paced, dynamic property department, this is a fantastic opportunity and will offer the right person an amazing working environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent IT and typing skills. The role will involve a high level of typing content as well as other core secretarial support. The role also requires involvement with client care so an eye for detail and accuracy is essential. Previous experience working with fee earners of a senior level in commercial and residential conveyancing departments would be ideal.

In addition to traditional cross-discipline secretarial skills, the ideal candidate will also be competent in completing Land Registry forms and SDLT returns, carrying out searches as well as dealing with administrative tasks involved with the role, i.e. copying, filing, invoicing etc.

Duties will include:

* Supporting the Conveyancing partner & associates
* Working on commercial conveyancing
* Amending and preparing documentation
* Audio and copy typing using digital dictation system.
* Dealing with Land Registry, obtaining Office Copy Entries and copy documents
* Liaising with high profile clients.
* Diary management and organising meetings
* Email management
* Producing letters/emails/legal documents

Key skills:

* Previous experience as a Conveyancing secretary is essential.
* Discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
* Knowledge of Digital Dictation.
* Team player with positive 'can do' attitude; common sense; flexible.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
