I am currently working exclusively with a business based in Dudley area that have a requirement for a revenue project leader. Within this role  you will be assisting the Revenues Manager reporting the companies gross margins and services and accurately maintaining the recurring maintanence projects. This is a newly formed position so for someone to come and a join a business that is growing in stature. I have given further details below of the role as this is a fantastic opportunity for someone that may feel its time for the step up.

The Role:

• Sales order processing.
• Customer Purchase Orders requisitioning, distribution and tracking.
• Sales Invoicing, Product/ Services and Contract Renewals
• Resolving Invoice queries.
• Processing, coding and recording purchase invoices and maintaining supplier cost of sale schedules.
• Expense recharges.
• Scanning project (Contracts).
• Filing.
• Preparation of Delivery Reports.
• Recurring Contract amendments/ charge notifications.
• Other Ad Hoc tasks

Accounting – Month End (Mostly Automated)
• Gross Margin recognition.
• Posting/ Understanding of Journals (Deferred/ Accruals- Revenue and Costs).
• BS & P & L Reconciliations.
• Contract Analysis.
• Other Ad Hoc Tasks

Further Information:

• To guide, mentor and monitor an allocated Revenues Assistant.
• To assist as and when necessary with system processes/ improvements and testing.
• To complete other ad hoc duties/ tasks as and when assigned within the given timeframes maintaining professionalism, accuracy, with concise and precise presentation
• To prepare for and deliver SOP’s initial/ refresher training for all new users/ existing users as and when the needs requires
• To cover and assist in other roles (both within the team and the whole of the Finance Department) during periods of sickness or holidays and other peak times
• To assist and ensure all tasks and duty deadlines and timeframes are attained.
• To assist the Revenues Project Leaders and/ or the Revenues Assistants when required.
• To maintain a full working and concise knowledge of the SOP’s system and procedures.
• To gain a working knowledge of all exception processes across the Business units.
• To monitor system processes and where possible improve the workflow.
• Ability to take ownership of work areas through to completion.
• Efficient, confident and organized.
• Ability to meet tight month end deadlines and other deliverables.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Experienced user of Outlook, Microsoft Excel including formulas and spreadsheet links etc, Microsoft Word.
