Fast growing business based in the Manchester area requires a Billing and Revenue Officer. This role is based within Finance central services and really does offer an opportunity for someone looking for a structured career.

The main purpose of the job is to work with various internal teams to ensure that billing and the management of work in progress on the customer matters is carried out promptly and efficiently.

Main Duties:

  • Maintaining a close understanding of Work in Progress with internal teams
  • Reviewing Work In Progress to maximise monthly billing, working closely with staff to ensure their matters are billed regularly

  • Completing reports for aged WIP, prioritising 30+ for monthly bills & 90+ for quarterly bills, working collaboratively with staff to ensure matters are sent to bill

  • Dealing with interim and final billing

  • Following up draft invoices with staff to ensure they are approved and issued to customers

  • Producing monthly bills for the Group;

  • Dealing with all billing and ledger queries, including creating credit notes where needed;

  • Liaising with other members within the Finance department to ensure queries are dealt with quickly;

  • Liaising with the credit control team to ensure that unpaid bills and disbursements are collected promptly;

  • Ensuring at all times that general administration duties are kept up to date and in line with the operational standards e.g. filing/ archiving etc

    The right candidate will have over 12 months experience of working within billing and will be looking for a role that will offer progression and development to the right person.
