Who we are:

We are a ridiculously cool, vibrant media company dedicated to creating seriously useful products for young adults.

We’re based within the city centre of Birmingham, established for over nine years, and have over 40 employees.

We are fully independent, self-funded, and own four international brands touching more than one million young adults every year, and we have a presence across digital platforms such as Apple Newsstand, Google Play, Blackberry, Windows 8, and the Amazon Store.

We also have an in-house experiential agency, carrying out highly creative marketing campaigns for large multi-national clients.

The Media Sales Advisor Role:

Due to several internal promotions, we are looking to strengthen our sales team for our digital advertising department.

The role involves contacting both new and existing customers all over the world, advising them about our current advertising packages.

Our working environment is a fast-paced, highly creative, open, collaborative, start-up like atmosphere.

You will be working with an established team, in a growing company with visible progression opportunities.

You’ll be responsible for:

> B2B Account Management
> Working with Team Leaders and Managers to ensure team revenue targets are met and leads are followed up
> Taking a proactive approach to lead sourcing in order to uncover new business opportunities
> Liaising with potential clients daily to discuss and identify their advertising requirements; Devising an advertising campaign that meets the client's needs and budget
> Creating new business relationships whilst building rapport and growing existing business to increase revenue
> Liasing with overseas clientele
> Driving, maintaining and developing business within the wider team

The Person we need:

> Strong planning, organisation and time management skills
> Ability to identify and seize new business opportunities
> To be highly motivated and driven
> Good written communication skills in terms of emails and proposals
> Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure towards group and individual targets
> Sense of humour!
