Humanities Teaching Assistant

At i-teachers we work closely with Secondary Schools across Leicester who are looking for talented graduates who wish to pursue a career in education or working with children.
Our aim is to place you at a school that would benefit your future career plans which would include arranging and coordinating your trial day.
The successful candidate will be mainly working and supporting students who will be working towards completing their GCSE's whilst there is the possibility of also aiding students studying for their A-Levels.
It would be beneficial if you have gained a 2:1 or higher in your degree and that the subject which you have graduated. The most important element is that you have a passion first of all for the subject and to become an educator and work within a school setting in the future.
The Teaching Assistant role itself will find you supporting the class teacher over an array of topics, helping students gain a better understanding of learning objectives within your chosen area of specialism. Throughout your time at the school you will find yourself work within the classroom and in smaller groups, aiding students who may need additional support in certain areas.
The School is located close to fantastic transport links and was graded as 'Outstanding' in its last OfSTED inspection.
