An apprenticeship will Allow you to gain recognised qualifications, Allow you to gain relevant work experience and Allow you to earn while you learn!

What will you be doing?
A variety of roles including:
• Developing and delivering exercise sessions
• Increasing membership sales and promotional activities
• Aspects of reception work (Answering phone calls, emails, face to face enquiries from members)
• And much, much more that will allow you to work with experienced staff gaining essential practise skills!

Working towards the related qualifications

What qualification would you gain?
• Certificate in Fitness Instructing Level 2
• Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT (if applicable)

Skills Required :
Energetic, enthusiastic, customer focused individuals.

Future Prospects :
On completion of the apprenticeship there may be opportunities to develop further into other roles such as personal trainer or teaching classes

Other Information :
The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £3.50 an hour. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.60 an hour for 18-20 year olds and £7.05 for anyone aged 21 and over. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).'
