11 Teaching Assistant
A large secondary SEN school in Lambeth is recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant to start in January until July 2018. This is an ongoing full time post, with the possibility of a permanent contract. Working hours are 8.20am - 4pm Monday to Friday.
The School provides an exceptional education with individualised planning so each child is able to learn at their own pace.
The selected candidate will be working on a 1:1 basis supporting a child who has severe Autism and challenging behaviour. The student will sometimes be placed in isolation, working closely with class teachers, you will be in charge of differentiaiting and delivering work. Over time you will work with SLT to integrate the student into the classroom full time.
Previous experience with ASD and challening behaviour is advantageous.
