What’s the role?
We’re looking for a Key Account Manager / Senior Account manager to join our expanding regional sales teams. But this is no ordinary sales job, as ours is a uniquely high-performing and supportive working culture. This role will be covering Key Accounts UK wide within the Automotive sector - ideal locations would include Birmingham / West Midlands however we will consider applications from anywhere within the UK.

What does the role involve?
As a key account manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering sales and profit results from the automotive key accounts portfolio through effective planning and disciplined sales execution. You will be responsible for developing multi-level contacts within offices and plants, and negotiating commercial agreements for the selected accounts. You’d actively promote Hilti products, services and software, and develop specific value propositions for these customers. Effective communication to the sales teams, the key accounts team and other relevant members of the wider Hilti team (e.g. departments at the head office, account personnel, engineering, specialist teams) is part of your daily duties.

Day to day, you’ll report to your regional head of sales, who will also be there to help you manage your career.

What you need is:
- Ideally a bachelor’s degree and business savvy
- Experience within an automotive manufacturing / FMCG environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment, courage and competitive drive
- A thirst to learn and challenge yourself
- Flexibility to travel throughout the UK
