You will work closely with an experienced department of teachers, benefitting from guidance from STEM leaders and have an active part in producing new learning opportunities for pupils of all age and ability ranges. You will have access to your own development plan and a personal mentor, who will guide you through the foundation programme and enable you to succeed in whatever route you decide to take. You will need to demonstrate a love for learning and your subject, as well as the commitment and resilience to work in a vibrant secondary school.
Ideally you will have a minimum of a 2:1 in your degree subject and have some transferable experience working with young people. Experience isn't necessary if you can demonstrate a natural ability to be an outstanding role model.
This school is located in central Birmingham, and is easily accessible by all public transport routes. You will have access to a staff car park if you drive. This school are committed to the development and retention of its staff.
