Domestic gas breakdown engineer - Servicing

My client is one of UK's leading providers of M&E services, specifically within the provision of Gas services to both the commercial and domestic markets, focusing more on the delivery to housing association and domestic contracts.

Due to an increased volume of work, a domestic gas engineer is required for a temporary to permanent contract undertaking service works within the Manchester area on behalf of a provider into a local housing association.

The successful candidate will carry out the delivery of gas servicing works within domestic properties within the area, undertaking works predominately on Valiant Eco boilers with some works being on Worcester boilers also with strong rolling stock of circa 10 years old. The properties themselves are operating within a pre-arranged access agreement and so can look to offer circa 8 - 10 services a day.

General duties would be the basic servicing and fault finding / remedial works within domestic boilers and properties, and so full Domestic gas qualifications would be required and a necessity.

Essential Candidate Requirements & Additional Information

* Valid and full domestic gas qualifications are a necessary requirement i.e. CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1, CKR1 etc...
* The ideal and successful candidate must have their own vehicle and Flue gas analyser with up to date calibration to aid in an immediate start.
* Ideally the candidate must have a strong working knowledge and understanding of domestic boilers and a strong background within the Servicing side.
* Due to the nature of the work and the need for the contract ideally the candidate would have an immediate or immediate availability to start.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the properties being domestic and public facing, ideally the candidate would possess a CRB / DBS check however this may not be a strict requirement.
