Travis Perkins plc is one of the largest Builders Merchants and Home Improvement companies in the UK, with over £6.2bn annual turnover. We have an exciting opportunity for an ‘Assistant Accountant’ to join our Group central support finance team, based in Northampton.

Part of a close knit team, you will provide Accounting Support to Finance Managers within the Group Finance department as and when required.

Accountabilities include:

Developing financial modelling and performing data analysis as required, to support Group-wide decision making

Completing relevant balance sheet reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial information and ensuring that Group policies are adhered to throughout working procedures

Providing detailed information to support the financial planning and forecasting process

Responding to adhoc queries raised by operational management.

Joining a dedicated team, you will utilise your strong numerical and analytical skills including the use of excel. Ideally, you will be an ambitious graduate who is looking to pursue a career in Finance and studying towards your ACCA or CIMA qualification.
