Our client, an exciting and rapidly growing Financial Services company is looking to add to it's Compliance and Risk team.

Job Summary

The Compliance Assistant is to work closely with the Compliance Manager to ensure the Company's adherence to its own policies, procedures and regulatory standards as well as best practices surrounding supplier management and Client contracts


Key tasks:

Regulatory
*Assist in achieving and maintaining compliance with EU GDPR
*Ensuring clients regulatory requirements are met in the provision of services
*Reviewing of contractual terms as required
*Identifying and monitoring new and existing regulatory requirements applicable to the business

ISO
*Assist in the writing of new processes and policies
*Support the annual re-certification of ISO 9001 and 27001
*Support the maintenance of the internal Policy Management system and Risk register

Supplier Management
*Assist with supplier performance and security reviews
*Monitor documentation that supports the supplier management process

Project Management
*Provide support to strategic projects as required

Client Assurance
*Assist with client compliance and assurance queries
*Liaise with Key Account and IT Managers for client assurance audits
*Gather evidence pre, during and post-visit as required
*Follow up on post-review actions with relevant managers

Ideally you'll be:

*Fast learner - able to pick-up and learn regulatory and business requirements
*Good IT skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint preferred
*Self-starter - able to prioritise work and meet deadlines,
*Team player - able to work effectively in a team and with professionals within the business
*Conscientious with excellent attention to detail
