A new role of Regional Sales Manager / Account Manager – South of England has been created to support a portfolio of existing (warm) client relationships as well as establish new opportunities working for this leading manufacturing business.

SALARY: £28,000 - £30,000

OTE; Bonus Provides uncapped earning potential

LOCATION: Homebased Role – Managing the South of England and London

It is envisaged you will live in one of the following areas to allow the best access to our clients – Reading, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Coventry, Reading, Hemel Hempstead, Reading, Luton, High Wycombe, London, and Aylesbury.

JOB SPECIFICATION - Regional Sales Manager / Account Manager

• This leading SME has shown significant growth and increased market share by consistently providing their customers with industry leading products and first class customer service. This Regional Sales Manager / Account Manager is a new addition to the expanding sales team.
• This is a classic territory sales manager position but within a soft sell environment where all elements of the sale are key: such as quality, service, support and understanding of the clients business and challenges that face them.
• The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for a large region with realistic growth opportunity, targeting the South of England and including London.
• As the Area Sales Representative, you will be required to generate new and develop existing relationships within a niche consumable goods market sector.
• This role will require you to have the capacity to cover a large sales area with minimal supervision.
• You will target key decision-makers within family run businesses, SME’s and small branch network settings.
• Overall this role will require drive, determination, grit and the ability to deliver a conceptual sell (to include a mixture of business ethos, consumables and added value services).
• Ultimately you will feel job satisfaction from the sense of making your own commercial decisions and managing your own territory as if it was your own business model.

REQUIREMENTS - Regional Sales Manager / Account Manager

* Credible Sales Representative / New Business Development Manager, with a proven track record of business development, coupled with a high level of sales maturity and professionalism.
* Holds a full UK drivers licence and flexible to work from home and cover a large area.
* Demonstrates excellent organisational skills and able to record visits, future pipeline and top target clients.
* On joining the team you will be required to visit the head office for a full induction based in East Midlands.
* You will need to be self-motivated and be able to converse at all levels of business with key decision makers to potentially add value to their profit return on key essential items.
