Treasury Management / Business Planning Officer

Bournville, Birmingham

Salary: £30,600 - £33,200 (pro rata)

Permanent, Part-time – 25 hours per week

Housingrecruit.com is currently advertising for an experienced an experienced Treasury and Business Planning Officer on behalf of our client a leading charity and housing association based in Birmingham.

A Charitable Housing Association with a turnover of £29m per annum and assets, loans and financial derivatives valued in hundreds of millions. They are looking for a post holder to help them manage their Treasury activities. The ideal post holder will not necessarily be an accountant, but will certainly be an excellent technical administrator, with significant experience in working with Banks, Legal Firms, Financial Advisors and Credit Agencies. The ability to identify, record and act on all the requirements that come from Loan Covenants, Banking Facilities, Financing Arrangements, Property Security Facilities and Property Security Valuations, will be fundamental to the role. As Treasury and Business Planning Officer, you will liaise regularly with Banks, Solicitors and other highly regulated institutions, so must be able to support them with timely and accurate information as required.

The post holder will report direct to the Director of Finance, but will have ample technical finance support from an excellent and highly skilled Team, so technical matters will be a problem shared. Assisting with business planning will be a significant part of the role, but again excellent organisation of information is more important that accountancy expertise.

Experience of Treasury Administration in a large organisation and a proven ability to develop great working relationships with external institutions and internal colleagues across a diverse organisation is essential.

The successful post holder will have a track record of assisting an organisation to deliver information that ensured compliance with complex and detailed regulatory requirements.
