We are proudly representing our public sector client based in Spennymoor for their search for a Finance Assistant. They now have an immediate requirement to recruit for a temporary assignment to start as soon as possible till June 18.
The RoleContribute to the delivery of service standards, quality and performance targets for the Assessment and Awards service in accordance with the Client’s Aims and Objectives.To provide an efficient and effective support service to the Assessment and Awards service.Assist with the financial assessment process, including the arranging of appointments, collation and validation of service user information where required.Assist with the annual re-assessment process.Adopt a problem solving approach to enquiries from members of the public and other service usersAssist with the management of service users finances where Appointee and Deputyship has been taken on, including protection of property and carrying out regular financial inspections on household and service users financial records Ensuring information is accurately stored and retrieved from the Services computerised and paper information systems, including the scanning and referencing of Assessment and Award documentation when requiredMaintain financial records and produce statistical information as requested and in accordance with the finance and accounts procedures.Contribute to continuous improvement activities in order to improve service delivery and professional developmentTo be aware of all legislation and procedures which impact on service activity.The above is not exhaustive and the post holder will be expected to undertake any duties which may reasonably fall within the level of responsibility and the competence of the post as directed by the Head of Service.
