We’re looking for a leader. Our niche financial services company processes over £100 million pa and as we start to explore new markets we’re looking for an Experienced Credit Control Manager to fill a new role in our busy but unique office environment.

In this new Management role, you will be responsible for a team of Line Managers & their staff. Ensuring they are all working in accordance with company, client and your procedures. You’ll be monitoring the effectiveness of the Line Managers credit control teams, making the office work towards securing client revenue targets, building new relationships with our legal clients and developing new procedures when the market dictates. You will be second only to the MD.

Key Responsibilities

Effective Management of Line Managers, and motivation of their teams towards securing monthly client revenue targets.Manage interdepartmental relationships, ensuring the Credit Control teams are working to procedures and being managed efficiently. Build & maintain relationships with our client base.Responsibility for making/implementing commercial decisions, putting those decisions to the MD, to improve credit control efficiency and client requests.Deal efficiently with any high-end client queries, logging the issue with the Credit Controller, tracking until the issue has been successfully resolved.Suggest, implement & continually review internal procedures, training teams on new practices when required.Monitor and manage office operations with aim of achieving company/employee performance targets.Update company Credit Control procedures & provide accurate forecasting with Internal month end reports.Help to drive the company forward and working with the MD on any relevant & new services for the market.Complete any other duties considered appropriate for the role or fair and reasonable tasks assigned to you by your MD.Key skills of the Credit Control Manager:

Excellent written, numerical, communication and verbal skills.Accurate administration skills and attention to detail.Strong leadership and people management with the ability to build client & staff relationships.Commercially and practically minded with a hands on approach.Experience of prioritising workload, time management and dealing with conflicting priorities.Member of Chartered Institute of Credit Management or similar: Desirable, but not essential.A strong focus on process improvement.Experience with high end clients.Strong Excel and comparable IT skills.Full driving licence.Benefits of working with us as our Senior Credit Control Manager:
