Baltic Training and NQC are delighted to be recruiting for an IT Support Apprentice to join their existing team based in The Northern Quarter, Manchester. With offices in Europe and North America, NQC has over 10 years experience in providing technology and insight to global government, automotive and defence sectors.
Due to their continued achievements they are now looking for individuals with a passion for technology to join their team. You won't be expected to know everything about IT as first class training and support is provided but a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are a must.

You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:
- Setting up new user email accounts
- Providing internal support
- New projects on systems
- Closing down user accounts
Training to be provided:
- Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in ICT
- Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
- Networking Fundamentals
- Mobility and Device Fundamentals
- Cloud Fundamentals
- Coding and Logic
- Business Process's
- Level 2 Functional Skills (Literacy, Numeracy and ICT)
Skills and qualifications required:
- 5 GCSE's A-C grades, including Math's and English
- Passion for IT
- Great organisational and communication skills
- Hardware knowledge would be beneficial
- Be able to take on new responsibilities and understand new technologies

Upon completion of this apprenticeship programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your training even further.
Salary, hours and benefits
- £168 per week
- Full time (37.5 Hours per week)
- Working hours 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday

Location and travel
This role is located in the Northern Quarter area of Manchester with easy access to local public transport links from wider areas. There are a number of Bus, Train and Tram stops all within walking distance.
