A primary school in Streatham, South London are now recruiting for a permanent intervention teacher to work with groups of 8 - 12 children across their KS1 and KS2 classes.
The school would like to recruit an intervention teacher who can adapt lesson plans from their full-time class teachers to match the ability of the students. The school believe that smaller focused groups will support attainment and help close the gap between their lower and higher ability pupils.

The school require an experienced class teacher who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas equivalent. You must be a confident practitioner who can work independently.
The school is growing (2 form entry in reception and year 1; and 1 form entry across all other year groups). They offer excellent facilities and supportive leadership who are excited about the new hire. This role will initially be through the agency, however, they would ideally like to make the role permanent in the near future.
