My client, a leading 3PL is seeking a Finance Assistant to work in their Salford, Redhill offices.

The primary purpose of this role is recording and processing costs for the South East Region in an accurate and timely manner. Providing support to the Finance Manager and site operations staff.

The role requires an understanding of financial accounting with the ability to assist with the monthly trading cycle including journal preparation and input, invoicing, Purchase Orders, Internal invoice preparation and posting, accruals and prepayments. The role will also cover compilation of the site quicks and assisting the trading function for the site.

General Duties:-

o Weekly/Monthly Quicks reporting for the contract
o Payroll input and reconciliation
o General Ledger / Journal production
o Assist with the production of monthly customer accounts and relevant back up reports
o Sales invoicing and credit control
o Support Finance Manager with month end trading processes
o Assist the operations team with scrutinising and understanding their financial quicks and current level of spend versus budgets
o Support Finance Manager in producing accurate data
o Supporting Operations team with production of ad-hoc KPI information
o Ad-hoc finance reporting & analysis

Package:- £22-£25000.00 + Pension.
