A well established Cannock based Mortgage company are looking to recruit for a Mortgage Processor to join their expanding team on a full time permanent basis.

As the Mortgage Processor you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality telephony service to brokers, solicitors, valuers and customers in a busy environment, handling both inbound and outbound calls. You will be provide a high-quality of initial case review and processing support that visibly contributes values and exceeds client and customer expectations. You will be required to proactively manage your work load ensuring where possible, that all tasks are completed within defined services levels for the underwriting/processing of applications.

Key skills and experience ideally required: -

- Experience of working within a busy mortgage processing department
- Knowledge of the mortgage process from application to redemption
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal;
- A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy when reviewing applications, credit searches, supporting documents, case suitability and valuation reports;
- Sound knowledge of mortgage regulatory framework
- Good organisational skills and time management

In addition, you will have excellent oral and written communication skills sufficient to liaise and interact with employees at all levels within the organisation and third party companies, dealing with confidential issues in a professional manner. A minimum of GCSE Mathematics and English Grade A - C or equivalent is an essential requirement of the role.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9:30am - 5:30pm with 24 days holiday, £18-£22k dependant on experience, plus bonuses and commission.
