Project Manager - North West - £55,000 - £65,000 & Package

My client are a leading traditional fit out company based in Manchester they currently turnover circa £30,000,000. They have appointed me in charge of recruiting their business critical role of Project Manager on a permanent basis. This is an immediate requirement for one of the market leaders specialising in high end, bespoke interior fit out projects.

Projects are located on a regional basis and my client have a full order book for the next 12 months as a minimum. Work will be predominantly Cat B fit outs for high end office interiors, projects will range in value from £2,000,000 - £6,000,000. The successful candidate will have a structured career history and have worked for the likes of ISG, Wilmott Dixon, Wates or Morgan Sindall.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience at Project Management level controlling projects up to £6,000,000. They will be process and procedurally driven and have a keen eye for detail. The successful individual will be an energetic problem solver with a strong fit out background who can communicate on all levels. They need to be able to co-ordinate and manage on site staff as well as clients, be attentive and have excellent communication skills, as they will be expected to maintain high standards of client relationship management. The Project Manager will create their own programmes for site and will have a major input on the financial aspects of their projects. The Project Manager will be tasked with ensuring all projects are completed on time, to budget and to the high standards expected.

All projects have to be completed to high calibre specifications/finishes and have to be signed off by the client to say you have met their requirements. The Project Manager will report into the Operations Director on a bi weekly basis.

The interview process will be a two stage process, first will be with one of the Operation Directors and the second with the Managing Director. Interviews are available week commencing the 9th and a start is available as soon as it suits both parties.
