About the Credit Controller Role

We’re looking for a Credit Controller to join our finance team. In this role you will be responsible for your customers’ credit needs, while adhering to the credit policy. You would be expected to manage your accounts in the following ways:

- Assist with creation and reconciliation of customer accounts.

- Creating and maintaining monthly aged debtor/credit reports.

- Chasing unpaid invoices by phone and email.

- Dealing with any queries and resolving on a timely basis.

- Maintaining up to date notes against each customer detailing actions taken and to be taken.

- Sending invoices and statements as requested, by customers.

- Other ad-hoc duties when required.

What do we look for in a Credit Controller?

You will have previous experience in a credit control role, with CICM level 3/AAT level 3 qualifications, or at least working towards these. You will have strong Maths and English qualifications, GCSE level A-C as well as being computer literate, confident telephone manner and good attention to detail. It’s important that you possess excellent communication and collaboration behaviours to excel in a team environment.
