An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Assistant to join an established growing team on a full time, permanent basis in Portland. Reporting to the Senior Company Accountant, the Payroll Assistant will be responsible for a number of day to day functions in this fast paced, diverse environment.
Responsibilities will include: processing starter and leaver information, checking and processing timesheet data, running Sage 50 payrolls including Holiday, Sickness, Pensions and RTI; and preparing and submitting BACs payment files.
You will be a committed, organised, hardworking person; who is accurate, numerate, computer literate, and used to managing tight deadlines. Ideally candidates will be experienced users of Sage 50 Payroll, confident with excel and will have a good understanding of relevant legislation.
