We are currently looking for an individual carry out the above temporary position of 'IT Business Analyst' within the Leicestershire Constabulary.

Within this position you will be required to provide IT business analyst services responsible for the methodical investigation, analysis, mapping and modelling of business processes and IT systems in order to identify and define requirements, evaluate options for improving processes and systems and enabling the implementation of Information Technology solutions, systems or process improvements. To model existing and desired scenarios, map, test and evaluate workflows to deliver improved and more cost effective ways of working and gain agreement from appropriate stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate:-

  • Must have demonstrable experience in the application of the principles, methodologies, techniques and tools applicable to Business Analysis including Business Process Modelling Notation or equivalent, use case analysis, workshop facilitation, interviewing, structured data analysis, scenario analysis.
  • Must have demonstrable experience of business processing, data modelling and structured analysis techniques.
  • Must have demonstrable experience of applying a structured and logical approach to research, investigation, analysis and the presentation of findings, recommendations and creation of statements of requirements, in relation to IT processes, solutions and services.
  • Must be able evidence the ability to gather and analyse requirements, provide gap analysis and understand problems or issues in order to devise and design a means or method of remediation to resolve the problem, facilitate a positive outcome.

The successful candidate can be based in any of the five East Midland Forces or can in fact be home based.
