The organisation is currently embarking on an exciting new workstream and they are looking for a SQL Developer to meet the demands of the project. Experience in writing TSQL code and create reports using SSRS, Views, Stored proceduresGood written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced Excel skills (Pivot tables/conditional formatting)Must have own transport and driver’s licenseMaintain the existing information environment and reporting infrastructure for the organisationHelp to develop the data warehouse and associated data routines using SQL and other query based languagesDevelop new ETL routines for loading data feeds into the data warehouseRespond to and assist in development requests for the main administration systemsSupport the Patient Systems configuration team to provide a better understanding of the data and provide technical/analytical supportAssist in the development and provision of an information management and analysis service to managers and develop procedures to support the improvement of data qualityCreate and manage a report library within the information environmentEnsure system housekeeping routines and procedures for all supported systems are up to date, accurate and carried out as scheduled, whilst ensuring any discrepancies are actioned appropriatelyTo assist in the development and implementation of robust data quality policies and procedures to monitor and improve performance in line with key performance indicators and to meet good practiceDevelop and maintain a front end user interface for colleagues to extract and view information that they requireMaintain and monitor the running of overnight maintenance activities on the various IT systemsHelp support the delivery of both the company and IM&T strategy plans Work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders from different areas within the businessAny other related duties that are considered appropriate for the roleNHS not required
