Rightio Limited is seeking an experienced credit controller to join this successful and well-established company based on the Hagley Road, Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hardworking and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have a proven Credit Control background and experience recovering debt in a fast-paced and busy environment.

You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work under minimal supervision, being accurate and having excellent attention to detail. We are looking for a strong Credit Controller who can deal with difficult situations.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will have full responsibility for all credit control related matters, to specifically cover the following key tasks;

    Perform all credit control tasks from query resolution to taking paymentsReducing the backlog of aged debt from a large portfolio of accountsEnsuring debt is kept within agreed parameters and escalating issues where appropriate Dealing with client account queriesCash allocation to client accountsLiaising internally with the operations and sales team to ensure policies and procedures are being met Sending out a variety of payment reminder letters and emailsTaking correct legal procedures and escalating issues to solicitors and bailiffs as requiredPreparation of weekly and monthly Credit Reporting pack.
