My client, a market leading UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Drainage, Civil and Structural Engineering, is searching for an Assistant Drainage Design Engineer to join an established team of Flood Risk and Drainage specialists based in Manchester.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategy and Residential Drainage or pipeline or Sewerage Designs using AutoCAD or Microdrainage.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience using Civils 3D.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on large scale development Development Projects from master planning to completion. Candidates will be required to complete detailed drainage and pipeline designs for major sewers and Residential Development Projects using Microdrainage.

Applicants will also be required to complete the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments.

-Flood Risk Maps using ArcGIS.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design Microdrainage.

-Drainage Area Planning.
