Robert Half Finance and Accounting have been engaged by a thriving business in the Financial Services sector to recruit a Financial Controller; this position will support the CFO at an exciting time in their history.

Based in West Oxfordshire, this position will offer a salary between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum dependent on experience.

The Financial Controller Role:

An opportunity to work alongside the CFO and help drive the finance function forwards whilst the business experiences increasing results, taking ownership of a 6 person team you will manage to the day to day responsibilities and liaise with key stakeholders.

  • Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
  • Budgeting
  • Forecasting
  • Variance Analysis
  • Income Analysis
  • Consolidations


The successful candidate be a Qualified Accountant through ACCA, CIMA, ACA or Equivalent or Qualified by Experience and have held a similar position within a small but growing organisation. Whilst experience in the Financial Services sector would be advantageous this is not essential. A strong communicator and direct manager with intermediate Excel skills and a proficiency with Sage Accounting software.
