My client is a well established and sizeable apprenticeships provider. They do a considerable amount of work in the Justice sector and facilitate Legal Apprenticeships. Due to their success, and continued growth of the programme, they have two Legal Trainer opportunities.
My client work with a wide range of law firms and in-house teams, helping them to introduce apprenticeship programmes for new and existing staff. These Legal Apprentices are therefore in employment, and are working towards their qualifications (work based learning).
As a Legal Trainer, you will work with a caseload of Apprentices. many of whom will be employed with firms of solicitors and other employers in the legal sector. You will ensure that your apprentices complete their qualifications successfully, in a timely manner, and in accordance with their individual training plans, and that their employers derive real benefits from my client's service.
The caseload of these hires will be largely in Greater Manchester, but could extend across other areas of the North West.

To be considered for the position, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • You will have worked in a legal capacity either as a paralegal, Chartered Legal Executive, Solicitor or equivalent until recently
  • You will have appropriate English legal qualifications i.e. CILEx level 6, LL.B. LPC, GDL
  • You will enjoy building relationships with a wide cross-section of people, from school leavers starting their first job to HR Directors and partners
  • You will be passionate about helping apprentices and their employers achieve and progress, and will have demonstrated such an interest in your current position (formal experience of having trained others is desirable, although not essential as full training will be provided)
  • You will be highly organised and good at managing your time
  • A driving licence and access to transport is required due to the nature of the position
