Are you a qualified aero engine/airframe technician seeking a change of career and the possibility of overseas travel?

JMC Recruitment is seeking a CRS Maintenance Engineer to carry out maintenance activities on aero engines, modules and transportation stands on a permanent basis.

Based in South Wales and reporting to the Maintenance and Planning Manager, you will be responsible for:

Undertaking all assigned maintenance activities i.a.w. EASA/FAR 145 maintenance level approval as recorded in the latest revision of the company's Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE)

As a company Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) signatory, issuing regulatory CRS i.a.w. defined procedures within the company MOE and FAA supplement document

Remaining fully conversant and up-to-date with airworthiness and regulatory standards and requirements relating to maintenance activities performed

Finding relevant data within OEM manuals when operating on your own, and carrying out all such activities utilising specified/alternative tooling as per the OEM manual

Notifying the Maintenance Planning Manager of quality of maintenance or documentation errors encountered as per EASA regulations

Communicating effectively with the management team and attending regular meetings

To be considered for this role you will need to be a qualified aero engine/airframe technician with experience of conducting maintenance activities and inspections on mid to large thrust commercial engines within an aviation maintenance environment. Other skills required include:

The ability to navigate, identify and accurately interpret relevant data within OEM manuals

Working knowledge of EASA and FAR 145 regulations as they pertain to aircraft engine maintenance

A positive, conscientious and proactive approach to procedures and the completion and control of maintenance documentation

Works well under pressure and responds positively to changing demands and challenging situations

Is detail orientated and has a high degree of accuracy

Works well within a team and on their own

Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

Is willing to participate in an 'on call rota' to cover out of hours activities

Is willing to travel within the UK and overseas at short notice

Working knowledge of Quantum, Deltek and QPulse would be an advantage.
