We are looking for a confident individual to help ensure that the pension administrative processes are completed to a high standard and in line with scheme rules and company policy. It is essential that the successful individual has strong computer skills, excels in customer service and takes pride in what they do. Main Accountabilities:

·Basic changes to member data (address changes, nomination of beneficiary forms, change of name etc)

·Calculating and paying retirement benefits

·Calculating cash equivalent transfer values

·Processing transfer out requests

·Checking leaver benefits

·Answering general enquiries by telephone (both incoming and outgoing) email or letter

  • Support the team with annual exercises such as Benefit Statements and pension increases
  • When required, support the daily workflow of the Pensions Team to include basic administration on the Group’s defined contribution scheme, opening/logging post, filing and scanning
Person Specification:


·Strong maths skills

·Experience of dealing with staff queries

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·Excellent relationship building skills

·Understand commitment to SLA and achieving deadlines


·Understanding of pensions processing, benefit calculations and defined benefit pension schemes

·Professional pensions or finance qualification (PMI, Diploma etc)

·Experience of Profund and Propay

·Qualified to ‘A’ Level or NVQ in a related discipline
