Purchase Ledger Clerk - Rossendale, Lancashire - £17k-£21k - Progression Available - Excellent Excel Skills

Your new company
This is a growing business based in the heart of East Lancashire towards Rossendale. Due to a number of internal projects and expansion within the team, this business are now seeking a permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team who also has excellent excel skills.

Your new role
Your new role within purchase ledger will involve the matching of invoices, coding using excel and entering the invoices onto Sage line 500. You will also be responsible for a number of duties including the preparation and processing of the BACS payment runs, international bank transfers, supplier statement reconciliation, employee expense claims and processing the company credit card, phone bill and warehouse bill monthly using excel. Alongside this, you will also be expected to post and allocate the cash on supplier accounts, monthly close off and reconciliation of the purchase ledger and the purchase ledger month end journal using excel monthly. You will be expected to work between the hours of 08:30 - 17:00 daily with 1 hour for your lunch and be paid between £17,000 - £21,000 based on your experience and your competency using Excel.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this position, you should have excellent Excel skills including v-lookups, filtering, data manipulation, pivot tables and h-lookups. You should also have experience working in a similar position previously and ideally have worked or be familiar with Sage packages. In terms of your personal attributes, you should be numerate, professional and organised and be able to work under pressure in a calm and relaxed manner.

What you'll get in return
In return for this, you will be provided with an excellent salary between £17,000 - £21,000 which is dependent on your experience within purchase ledger and your strengths of excel. You will also be provided with 28 days holiday, onsite parking and a pensions package.
