Shift Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Biased)

12hr Panama Days & Nights Shift Pattern

Our client is a leading food / FMCG manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to major investment, expansion and development within the organisation, they are looking for an electrically biased shift maintenance engineer.

Role & Responsibilities:

*Day-to-day maintenance of all high-speed production & packaging machinery
*Carry out planned & preventative maintenance both electrically & mechanically
*Working on packaging machinery, processing production lines, labellers, blow moulding machines, sealers, conveyors, liquid filling machines
*PLC & SCADA Systems - Electrical fault finding
*Dealing with motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, inverters, servo drives, pipework, pumps
*Knowledge of continuous improvement & lean manufacturing techniques

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

*Must be a multi-skilled engineer, electrically biased with electrical formal qualifications
*Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical, ideally ONC/HNC level
*Beneficial to have 17th Edition
*Must have worked in high-speed / high-pressure food, FMCG or beverage manufacturing
*A strong team player with a continuous improvement approach to engineering
*PLC & SCADA Systems - Must have electrical fault-finding skills
*Sound mechanical skills - dealing with pipework, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps
*Able to prioritise multiple tasks in a pressurised environment effectively

Shifts & Benefits Package:

*Shift:-12 Hour Panama Shift Pattern - Rotating Days & Nights (Every Other Weekend off)
*Salary:- £40,000 - £42,000
