Position: Lecturer Music Technology
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Job Type: Part Time, Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 19 hours per week
Salary: £18.76 to £21.11 per hour

About the role:

They would like to present an exciting opportunity to join and contribute to a dynamic team. They are seeking an inspirational teacher and Musician to deliver on their Music Technology provision.

Through creating a positive climate and setting high expectations for learners in relation to standards of achievement and the quality of teaching, you will support the Business through the achievement of annual targets for learner retention and success.

About you:

- A formal teaching qualification at level 4 or above (or working towards).
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject area.
- A significant and successful experience of teaching music technology skills.
- The experience of working in FE.
- The experience of the post-16 age group.
- A demonstrable record of success in previous roles.
- Knowledge and understanding of mechanisms for the identification, assessment and support of learner needs.
- Understanding of equality and diversity within the curriculum, barriers to learning and strategies to overcome these.

You may have experience of the following: Course Manager, Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Course Design, Education, Teacher, Mentor, Tutor, Teaching, CTLLS, English Teacher, English, etc.
