It is the job of the Social Media Account Director to motivate the senior team and have a wider knowledge to guide them and deliver efficient campaigns within the deadline. The successful candidate will set KPIs and objectives for the senior teams and be responsible for delivering successful ROI. The successful candidate will furthermore become the leader of a strong division, so it is essential to have previous experience in managing senior teams and set new marketing objectives.

Main responsibilities of the Social Media Account Director

  • Create new ambitious strategies which build strong and loyal customer relationships
  • Be a confident leader and take ownership of all accounts to ensure efficient management
  • Create and implement social media strategies that meet client’s set objectives
  • Ensure that strategies are integrated across multiple principles within the agency to ensure maximised efficiency
  • Run budget and risk management
  • Work on developing existing accounts and identify new opportunities for growth
  • Manage senior client accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Be up to date on all industry developments and trends to provide the newest social media campaigns to the clients
  • Be an ambassador and face of the company
  • Be able to create a strong understanding of the client’s own brand
  • Ensure client meetings are run efficiently
  • Ensure all strategies are kept within the company’s guidelines and core values

Required skills

  • Have a strong commercial mindset to creative efficient objectives for the team
  • Previous experience and a proven track record of business development and managing social media campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of digital content and SEO techniques
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Strong passion for social media and excellent skills of customer management
  • Great negotiation skills and be a strong influence on all teams across the agency
  • Have strong creative skills to build ground-breaking campaigns
  • Previous experience with managing projects, prioritise workflow and budget management
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate campaigns critically
