Senior Accounts Payable Clerk (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

Location : Burnley
Salary: £20,000-24,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our fast growing globally recognised client is looking for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk with great attention to detail to be based in their Burnley Office. Part of the role will be managing 3 Accounts Payable Clerks and providing support to the team.

Job Description:

  • Management of 3 Accounts Payable Clerks
  • Assisting with Query Resolution
  • Matching, batching, coding high volume of invoices monthly
  • Processing stock invoices, matching GRN's and posting invoices to PO's and manually
  • Assisting with month end processes
  • Assisting in the move to a new automated invoice system
  • Allocation of refunds, direct debits and debit note reversals

Ideally you will:

  • Have previous Supervision skills
  • A very strong background in Accounts Payable
  • IT literate with strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Have experience of working as part of a team
  • Great attention to detail
