Our client is a leading employer based in South Kent, and they are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Manager on a 9 month contract. This role covers the accounts payable function for 3rd party suppliers, inter-company and employee expenses across the business. You will be responsible for managing five members of staff, including the review, support and sign off of their work.

Duties will include:
-Ensure suppliers are paid to terms and any issues are identified and dealt with on a timely basis
-Developing strong working relationships with key suppliers
-Checking expenses on a timely basis
-Preparing payables forecast for input - identify and explain variances
-Continually review and improve internal processes to ensure a strong internal control framework is maintained

To be considered for this role, you must have considerable experience in a similar position, possess excellent communication skills and be highly organised. Also avaialble at short notice.
