We have an exciting opportunity for a mechanically biased Multi Skilled Engineer to work in a supervisory role within our Engineering Department reporting to the Maintenance Manager. This Engineering specialist will be responsible for the efficient maintenance, repair and improvement of all equipment through planned and non-planned activities to maximise plant availability.

Job Responsibilities include:

Responsible for delivering line NME through proactive engineering supportProvide knowledge and support in the event of plant failureUndertake routine maintenance on equipment so it performs to NME standardContinuously improve and deliver maintenance strategyEquipment breakdown/repair

Diagnosis of plant/equipment breakdowns/defectsRepair of plant/equipment breakdowns/defectsAdvise production of resolution or planned resolutionPreventative Maintenance

Carry out scheduled PPM tasks and fault reportingRepair or report any identified faultsAdministration Maintenance

Responsible for completing and returning planned maintenance shift reportsRoot cause events as requestedCommunicating repairs/diagnostic issues to Shift LeaderEnsure the production break-down log is correctly completedResponsible for correct usage of stores/spare partsSupervisory Responsibilities

Give planned maintenance tasks to the Engineers and manage them to ensure full compliance against set guidelinesIn collaboration with the Senior Engineering Manager, anticipate staffing needs and ensure appropriately skilled people are in place (includes defining roles & responsibilities for own area, producing succession plans and taking all engineers through our PDR process).Responsible for KPI reporting such as; % of completed maintenance, engineering downtime and Budget spend etc.We are looking for an experienced engineer with supervisory experience who has ideally achieved qualifications within electrical and mechanical disciplines as well as having worked within a large scale operation previously. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills as well as being able to prioritise your own workload.
