A leading manufacturing business are looking to recruit a Sales Ledger Administrator. Paying £17k.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be:

  • Data entry and merchandising for key account Amazon
  • Data import and uploading onto Chorus of selected customer orders
  • Allocation of incoming customer orders to staff for keying within the department
  • Data entry of customer orders received via various routes, on a FIFO basis, be they
  • Data entry of stock check/inventory books
  • Data entry of discard summary books
  • Data entry/running of new stocks
  • Data entry of stock upgrades
  • Data entry of missed issues
  • Run Sew Today Magazine orders for retailers
  • Run seasonal issues for retailers
  • Daily and regular running of pick lists (and corresponding invoices), based on schedule and priorities set by the company

Consumer Sales Administration

  • Answering incoming calls from the company's consumer customers
  • Ensure timely processing of answer-phone messages
  • Data entry of orders and taking and processing of payment
  • Processing of backorders including credits/refunds
  • Check website order report for non-Members
  • Processing of consumer exchanges and refunds
  • The whole administration of magazine subscriptions on Myriad including processing renewals, address changes, cancellations, direct debit enquiries etc…
  • Processing direct debits through Myriad including cancellations of direct debits
  • Sending out of direct debit letters
  • Sending out of recommend a friend letters
  • Responding to consumer emails including
  • Daily and regular running of pick lists and invoices as per schedule
  • Balancing of cash-banking report
  • Emailing of woven label orders


What you'll need to succeed

You will need:

  • In depth knowledge of in house computer systems
  • High level of Computer Literacy
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Customer Service orientation
