A permanent vacancy within Credit Control, based at the client's manufacturing facility in Newcastle Upon Tyne has become available.If you are looking for challenge, development and to best use your financial skills this is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking team.

In this position you will cover a range of Credit Control activities incorporating;

  • Processing bank statements and applying customer payments
  • Liaising with customers to ensure timely payments and resolve invoice disputes
  • Debtor, cash and sales reporting
  • Managing shipping holds and credit assessments for new and existing customers
  • Liaising with internal departments to co-ordinate customer credit and debits
  • Maintaining strong performance metrics
  • Ad hoc duties as requested by the Finance Director / Credit & Collections Finance Director
The successful candidates should have at least A-C GCSE grades in English and Maths, although A level standard is preferred. Critically, candidates must be numerate with good communication, keyboard and problem solving skills and have experience of working well under pressure and within set time frames. Experience of Microsoft packages is essential and SAP experience is preferred, although training will be provided.

Hours for this role are 10:00am – 6:45pm Monday through Thursday and 12:00pm – 5:20pm Friday.
