Description

Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts for the group companies
  • Managing fixed assets, prepayments and accruals
  • Performing monthly bank & revenue reconciliations
  • Regularly meeting project managers to ensure all invoices, costs and contracts are up to date on accounts
  • Authorising invoices raised by project managers
  • Ensuring recharges and mark-ups are calculated correctly
  • Supporting colleagues with timesheets & expenses system
  • Handling ad-hoc finance queries regarding accounts payable/receivable
  • Monitoring shared finance inbox daily

Profile

Key Skills & Experience for the Management Accountant:

  • Demonstrable experience in a junior accounting or finance role
  • Experience using accounting systems (e.g. NetSuite) is essential
  • Part way through an accounting qualification is desirable (e.g. ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • A degree (or equivalent) in maths, accounting, economics or another relevant field
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Well organised & strong time management
  • Medium to advanced IT skills (in particular Excel)
  • Pro-active attitude
  • Ability to work well in a close-knit team

Job Offer

Up to £30,000 with study support and a comprehensive benefits package.
