Credit Control Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for development in the Financial Controls and Administration Team. In this position you will manage a team of three Credit Controllers/Sales Ledger Assistants and be responsible for maintaining the sites sales ledger ensuring prompt payment from our customers. You will also work with internal stakeholders to emphasise the importance of cash collection and ensure the smooth operation of our online business.


Lead, and manage the team to raise accurate invoices, chase customers for payment of overdue invoices and improve the organisations cash flow position
Oversee the credit control processes for all sales related debtors
Managing the timely collection of all debts in accordance with agreed Credit/Payment terms
Set-up and maintain new customers on the finance systems, working with appropriate teams to get accurate and complete information
Report and track promises to pay against actual cash received, and provide weekly updates for cash flow.
Help to create strong customer relationships
Offer proactive solutions where needed
Provide excellent customer service to our 700 pubs and bars
Produce and analyse debtor reports for distribution to internal stakeholders
Hold meetings with internal stakeholders to emphasise the importance of cash collection
Work with Project Team to ensure smooth implementation of website development of pre-booked sales
Staff development. Providing coaching, mentoring, direction and guidance

Skills required:

Intermediate Excel skills

Other Information:

Full time position (35 hours)
