12-hour shifts both days and nights.

The site manufactures components for aerospace, wind energy and industrial solutions such as carbon filters, reinforcements, adhesives, laminates and infusion resins.

Responsibilities of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

  • Carry out daily reactive maintenance across site responding to breakdowns/non-intrusive maintenance
  • Overhaul/repair component parts in the workshop ready for re-installation
  • Ensure all work is executed in accordance with sound engineering practice, site standards, regulatory requirements and legislation
  • Deliver exemplar quality performance
  • Ensure robust, aligned safe systems of work are maintained at all times, all improvements meet legislation and site requirements and all work is delivered to committed schedules
  • Interface with client and maintenance teams to ensure effective communications and responses to demand

Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

The successful candidate will have an electrical biased skill set and have experience in mechanical and electrical breakdown and maintenance. You will deliver all aspects of asset maintenance ranging from proactive systems of work and asset care to reactive response. A HNC or above in one of or preferably two of Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering is required. Additional requirements include;

  • Previous experience working in a highly automated and fast paced manufacturing environment with an electrical/mechanical background
  • NVQ Level 3 as a minimum
  • Hydraulic/Pneumatic/Electronic all preferable
  • 17th Wiring Edition for Electricians
  • PLC experience and fault-finding ability
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentational skills
