An exciting radical robotics start up is actively looking for a Computer Vision and Navigation Engineer to join its state-of-the-art microelectronics and software engineering team, to deliver brand new classes of robotic vehicles.
You will be an innovative thinker and genuine problem solver who thrives in a fast paced research and development environment. Furthermore, the state-of-the-art company are looking for a highly-motivated, proactive individual with a real passion for electronics and software!
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
-Development of sensor processing and navigation algorithms for the autonomous localisation within known, partially known and unknown environments.
-Take advantage of computer vision.
-To develop in C/C++ and implemented in real-time on embedded bare metal or Linux platforms.
-Experience of camera theory, calibration, detection, optical flow, transformations, homography, tracking is crucial
-Sensor Processing and Fusion in Camera, Inertial and GNSS
-Knowledge of Camera Systems: interface types, video codecs, Pixel formats, sensor, lens and shutter types
-Computer vision theory and techniques is a must
-Strong mathematical ability in pure mathematics, linear algebra and statistics
-C/C++ in Embedded systems, Windows Linux
-Experience of Matlab/Simulink
-Exposure to CUDA/OpenCL
-Appreciation of Bayesian decision theory
-Appreciation for the dynamics of physical systems
