The purpose of this post is to work as an Account Manager on a set of assigned customer accounts in order to maximise the growth potential in line with the business strategy and deliver a high level customer satisfaction, to help develop a strategic partnerships which is an integral part of the business ethos. You will be the main contact for all of the nutritional products and vitamins and supplements so knowledge around this area is key. The role is varied; sometimes office based with some external customer meetings and requires a flexible, enthusiastic Account Manager that has the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. Creative and passionate about products the role enables development of a variety of skills from new product creation through to sales and marketing, an opportunity to develop designated accounts and business acumen. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Primary Objective to achieve profitability and revenue targets, secondary objectives around KPI's which include customer development through relationship and partnership Accountable for a designated range of existing customers within the business portfolio, opportunities to increase breadth of account expertise as new businesses are awarded Responsible for maximising growth through partnership development and business plan implementation Identify opportunities and supporting strategic business plans to deliver on objectives Commercial analysis, costing and price reviews in line with business directives Negotiation and quotation submission to customers Responsible for maintenance of account paperwork and filing including business requirements for example sales projections Supporting creating new product ideas and concepts with the internal & external teams Presenting and influencing customers using a variety of sales skills to ensure business growth Research consumer markets, monitoring trends and identifying potential area's for growth through product evaluation, gap analysis and other marketing tools Ability to manage own work load to ensure deadlines are achieved and prioritising where appropriate Work closely with the Technical and Operational Teams to understand how on-going investment can complement and improve customers product ranges Assist the project manager in risk analysis and solution management, including critical path management and all aspects of the new product introduction process Lead and manage Value Engineering Projects for given customer base Work with the customer demand team to review OTIF and service level Ensure that all required customer information is maintained and kept up-to-date Keep the customer updated with actions relating to any complaints or quality issues Carry out other associated projects and duties as determined by Line Manager Formal Qualifications and Experience required: Strong knowledge within Nutritional products, vitamins and supplements or food development An aptitude for: Strategic Working, Innovative Thinking and Analytical Thinking Experience in a marketing, sales, project management or product development role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment with a creative mindset Have good negotiation and presentation skills Be energetic and passionate about customers and products Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal confidently with a wide range of people from different departments and levels of the business and within customer accounts Be organised and methodical A good listener, and a champion within customer services Ability to think strategically and creatively when developing and implementing customer strategies Full UK driving licence is required Personal Attributes/Skills: An excellent communicator, both verbally and written Be organised and methodical Flexible, solutions-focussed, entrepreneurial Extremely proactive self-starter with drive and ambition to have your work truly make a difference Enthusiastic and genuinely committed to developing products and ranges for customer This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative and dynamic organisation within a Nutritional Account Manager role.
