In line with this sustained growth, there is a new opportunity within the Manchester Wholesale business for an Insurance professional looking to join a team enjoying continued success and development.

You would be working in a vibrant growing business within a team of experienced individuals as a Wholesale Account Manager managing the following classes of business:

  • Commercial Combined

  • Combined Liability

  • Property

  • Professional Indemnity

Within the role your remit will include but not be exclusive to the following;

  • Producing submissions for market and issuing quotations for new and renewal business.

  • Effective and timely day-to-day servicing of an existing portfolio and query resolution relating to coverage or accounting.

  • Ensuring the issue of accurate documentation.

  • Identifying opportunities for business development.

  • Employing comprehension of Insurance principles and an awareness of Risk Management to identify exposures and suggest solutions.

If you have recent proven Commercial Insurance experience in either an Underwriting or Broking capacity and want to join a market leader this is the ideal opportunity to do so. Suitable candidates for the role must have the afore mentioned Insurance experience coupled with the below attributes;

  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills.

  • Good attention to detail.

  • The ability to communicate effectively and independently and to prioritise and manage your time.

  • An awareness of regulatory controls and a familiarity with bespoke and off-the-shelf IT programs.

  • The ability to work as part of a team, develop a knowledge of and utilise given resources whilst adhering to standards and procedures.

  • Analytical and problem solving skills
