Our client situated in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a new addition to the team to manage the Credit Control function in its entirety.

Tasks/Responsibilities that you will have in this role;

- Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed
as necessary
- Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness up of the credit control system
- Setting up the terms and conditions of the receivable and payable balances
- Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
- Meet cash & debtor day targets set
- Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
- Account reconciliation
- Any &/OR all other tasks required of you to meet business needs

Candidates specifications;

The client is looking for you to have the following in this position;

- Previous experience dealing with Credit Control
- Knowledge of Sage accounting packages
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to commute easily to Hemel Hempstead area
- Flexible approach to work
- Strong team ethic however ability to work autonomously
