About The Role: Seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Finance Assistant to join a well-established and successful business in Northampton. The role provides exciting variety with day to day responsibilities in the Procurement of goods and administrative support to the head of Finance, chiefly ledger administration and control. There is potential for growth, ownership and development within this role and you will be a vital member of the team.
Requirements: The successful candidate will ideally have demonstrable procurement experience within finance. They will be confident in key elements of the procurement role, particularly placing/receipt of Purchase Orders, updating quotations, management of inventory and working with suppliers on bid requests and tender objectives. Knowledge of Microsoft NAV and JIT standards would be beneficial alongside experience of IT and purchasing of technological goods.
